TEENAGER David Todd only passed his test a year ago but he has already been arrested twice for driving while disqualified.
The 18-year-old was banned from the road for a year on August 8 after being convicted of failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis.
But he was first caught breaking the ban when he drove his Peugeot to a garage to get a special part fitted so he could sell the vehicle and remove temptation.
Then two weeks later, after not turning up at the probation service so they could compile a pre-sentence report, he got back behind the wheel to drive to a job interview because he had forgotten to line up other transport.
Richard Thomas, prosecuting, told magistrates that Todd was first stopped on September 24 and a week later admitted driving while disqualified and was released on bail.
But he was picked up again on October 15 when a police patrol on Queens Drive spotted him driving at 2.25pm.
Todd, of Home Farm, Highworth, admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance. He admitted similar offences at an earlier hearing.
Magistrates remanded him in custody so pre-sentence reports can be compiled for both sets of offences.
